As a follow up to my previous posts, the latest being BFD3 Library for Kontakt: Kit 5, here are 3 new kits from the BFD3 Factory Library. % M! [. H3 L# l- ]" {$ |) r 5 J+ K, ?9 W$ e2 }: R9 l: zI think it is better to start posting more than 1 kit per week or else it will drag for 7 weeks. ; f0 G' D* E; aI am sure by then, most of you would be tired of these kits.- D0 o$ [ g7 U, F) Y/ @
( L8 A6 J) N' ? D0 DKits 6 & 7 compliment Kit 5. The same instruments used in Kit 5 are used in these 2 kits but with different beaters. 5 a7 f: [6 w( J9 W
Whereas Kit 5's beater was a stick, Kit 6 uses a brush as a beater and Kit 7 uses a mallet. * C/ |; w9 M: {, e+ f1 h" b7 |
The same internal channel structure as Kit 5 is used for Kits 6 & 7 (i.e Room Far mic is stereo): E- X/ ^2 J! q* A& X' q8 F

As for Kit 4, the internal channel structure follows Kit 1 (i.e Room Far mic is mono). _# P+ y! m* @# D1 o+ \

As per the screenshot above, for each articulation you can now adjust 2 things: The volume and the velocity sensitivity. 3 j+ O/ v/ m2 s: U# k5 dThe volume is self explanatory. The velocity sensitivity is Kontakt's internal modulation intensity of the velocity. 0 E' f) W2 p8 p; W
So, set at 100%, it will behave exactly like the previous 2 kits: Kontakt will decrease the volume of the samples for low velocities. - ^0 r: u( r x" c0 Q
Set at 0%, the volume will rely completely on the volume of the sample as recorded in the BFD3 Factory Content. , y* {, V; n2 G( p0 l2 Z, Z# a
I think by introducing this, it will give you more control of the articulations. 5 o! `! k7 u/ B8 g: Z# X( h( q
