+ T5 H) X5 I: [4 CAs a follow up to my previous posts, the latest being BFD3 Library for Kontakt: Kit 5, here are 3 new kits from the BFD3 Factory Library.1 @3 `3 Y7 F: ~* @+ b6 \' _* k+ e; X
' e7 [6 ~+ R( X# e! P. [! e% x7 oI think it is better to start posting more than 1 kit per week or else it will drag for 7 weeks.
0 O; l; p9 u- o; ~I am sure by then, most of you would be tired of these kits.' x( D3 A5 z2 v! h8 {- J
2 F8 c& K7 j- w1 X5 WKits 6 & 7 compliment Kit 5. The same instruments used in Kit 5 are used in these 2 kits but with different beaters.
6 E. b+ n! _) d7 `Whereas Kit 5's beater was a stick, Kit 6 uses a brush as a beater and Kit 7 uses a mallet.
% F, S# _4 O1 _8 _2 EThe same internal channel structure as Kit 5 is used for Kits 6 & 7 (i.e Room Far mic is stereo)

T0 @$ O7 }; v0 r9 c- rAs per the screenshot above, for each articulation you can now adjust 2 things: The volume and the velocity sensitivity.
2 k0 c. j. g% [- R1 m" w8 xThe volume is self explanatory. The velocity sensitivity is Kontakt's internal modulation intensity of the velocity.
2 h% A% c) h; V& H; [ rSo, set at 100%, it will behave exactly like the previous 2 kits: Kontakt will decrease the volume of the samples for low velocities.
# V0 T# P0 G7 P% HSet at 0%, the volume will rely completely on the volume of the sample as recorded in the BFD3 Factory Content. + m* _) A" `9 O& H2 u
I think by introducing this, it will give you more control of the articulations.
