As a follow up to my previous posts, the latest being BFD3 Library for Kontakt: Kit 5, here are 3 new kits from the BFD3 Factory Library.& _& w% b/ a8 j. ]
5 y- ^6 G% O% {! r6 J O/ C
I think it is better to start posting more than 1 kit per week or else it will drag for 7 weeks. & U# @, G* N" e! d0 P. Q
I am sure by then, most of you would be tired of these kits.( z5 U: T9 J+ K9 g( P
7 z- i: y4 J! YKits 6 & 7 compliment Kit 5. The same instruments used in Kit 5 are used in these 2 kits but with different beaters.
3 ]. v2 q7 [0 V! W. G& y2 lWhereas Kit 5's beater was a stick, Kit 6 uses a brush as a beater and Kit 7 uses a mallet.
3 k9 ]* ~, E' r/ @- kThe same internal channel structure as Kit 5 is used for Kits 6 & 7 (i.e Room Far mic is stereo): W# k8 \* j5 ?0 H4 e% ?2 e) N
) u, l/ h1 z) r7 j* I! n$ Q
As for Kit 4, the internal channel structure follows Kit 1 (i.e Room Far mic is mono)." r; V/ Z+ L( m! S0 O5 x& \$ I# U
& s; X; L3 D* |) ~9 M% U/ b
I have also added 2 new small features:

$ V: ]5 L2 P/ h W+ M% y# M a( n: h) N5 C$ ^
* N1 N; [7 z" a4 N* w& v- r( S# NAs per the screenshot above, for each articulation you can now adjust 2 things: The volume and the velocity sensitivity. 1 D ?/ B' g/ q
The volume is self explanatory. The velocity sensitivity is Kontakt's internal modulation intensity of the velocity.
- C# H/ y9 l5 c3 }0 [4 |% L1 D* S. NSo, set at 100%, it will behave exactly like the previous 2 kits: Kontakt will decrease the volume of the samples for low velocities.
: E5 p* T! v( k3 `Set at 0%, the volume will rely completely on the volume of the sample as recorded in the BFD3 Factory Content. 2 i+ l; A; R6 R- |) I( w+ R, C
I think by introducing this, it will give you more control of the articulations.
